Boxing Promoters: DMX Got Us in a Real Fix

DMX may have wanted to fix his fight to avoid an ass-beating, but now he's really cruisin' for a bruisin' -- legally -- because the promoters that hired X are suing him for chickening out last minute.

According to docs filed Friday in Birmingham, Alabama -- Thunder Promotions wants $1,000,000 from the rapper, claiming he's a fraud and led them on ... because as soon as they refused to fix his fight, he backed out.

The company says DMX's jitters really put them under the wire and cost them a ton of moolah because they had to switch gears late in the game and find a celebrity replacement.

But if you want our opinion -- DMX isn't half the man who's fighting in his place on December 12 ... because that man is Coolio!!!

Today the Role of DMX Will be Played by Coolio

DMX, CoolioDMX couldn't come to terms with the people putting on a celeb boxing match next month -- meaning they wouldn't fix it so he would win -- so X is out and Coolio is in.

Thunder Productions tells TMZ they have signed Coolio to the upcoming celebrity boxing match scheduled to take place in Alabama next month. They tell us Coolio has been much easier to deal with and "he is going to take this seriously."

X had previously agreed to the bout, but only on the condition he was guaranteed to win.

DMX Demands Boxing Promoters Fix His Fight

DMX wants to get into the boxing ring and prove to everyone that he's still a tough guy, but there was a serious catch -- he'll only do it if the promoters can somehow MAKE the other guy lose ... anyone smell a fix?!

It's all over an upcoming celebrity fight in Alabama -- X signed on to fight some wannabe actor named Eric Martinez. But after he agreed to a 3-round fight, DMX had a few demands ...

X's manager, Nakia Walker, submitted an addendum to the rapper's original contract for the fight, stipulating: "Event Promoter and Management agree that [DMX] is scheduled to win Boxing Challenge."

Walker also added a line which read, "All parties agree this event has been scheduled to occur only in fun and that the artist involved is not a professional boxer."

The fight promoters, Thunder Promotions, refused to sign the addendum -- claiming they never agreed to fix anything. Now, DMX is threatening to back out and the promoters are looking for someone to replace the rapper while they also prepare a lawsuit for breach of contract.

DMX's rep tells us the rapper really does want to fight -- rigged or not -- but she's forcing his hand because "he's a hip hop artist, not a boxer."

DMX Goes Ballistic at Charity Concert

He was late ... to a very important date ... and when he arrived, DMX went nuclear on security guards who wouldn't allow him perform at a charity event this weekend.

DMX: Click to watch
The rapper got into a screaming match with security when he arrived to a Colorado Springs concert nearly 90 minutes after security was told he was scheduled to perform. In the video, both sides can be seen going off on each other.

X, his bodyguards and fans eventually got into a shoving match with security in front of the stage, while the crowd -- who had already been told he wasn't going to show -- chanted "DMX! DMX!"

He eventually got on stage -- but the sound system was reportedly turned off so he couldn't perform.

Only DMX could turn a charity event into a melee.

DMX -- Out of Jail, Into the Ring

DMX has kindly taken time out of his busy prison guard assaulting schedule to fight someone from the general population.

DMX

DMX -- who has to be good an bobbing and weaving by now -- is set to box some dude named Eric Martinez during the "Celebrity Fight" section of an Alabama Pride MMA event in December. We're told Eric is an "up-and-coming actor" -- who we're guessing will soon star in DMX's next police report.

X's rep tells us the rapper has been "working out really hard," "eating right," and is "looking forward to having some fun" -- which we're guessing is prison-speak for beating some poor sap's face in before laundry duty.

DMX Shocker -- Arizona Jail Sucked!

This is the best thing DMX has done in years, because last night in front of Madeo, the oft-incarcerated rapper completely slammed the entire state of Arizona, insulted the sheriff who controls his fate and broke out some darn impressive freestyle.

DMX Meets Some Skeezers in Rehab

DMX took time out of his busy going to jail schedule to go to Rehab -- as in the giant bikini and booze-riddled pool party at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

No Jail for DMX ... This Week

DMXIt can no longer be said that not a week goes by without DMX being sent to jail.

A judge has decided not to send the oft-troubled rapper to jail after he pled guilty to felony attempted aggravated assault a few weeks back. X was accused of verbally threatening guards at Tent City back in February.

Instead, he got 18 months probation, fees and fines, and credit for time served.

Statistically speaking, X will end up back behind bars sometime in July -- at the latest.

DMX May Have to Pitch a Tent at AZ Jail Again

DMXYou knew it was coming: 8 days after DMX was released from jail, he pled guilty to another crime -- and he's about to find out if he'll have to make another triumphant return to Arizona's Tent City Jail.

DMX -- who originally pled not guilty -- copped a plea and pled guilty to attempted aggravated assault (a felony) back on May 22 -- after an incident in which he verbally threatened guards at Tent City back in February.

The serial law breaker is due back in Maricopa County court for sentencing on Monday.

DMX -- Free to Get Arrested Again

DMX DMX was released from the Maricopa County Jail in Arizona this morning -- and, surprisingly enough, he hasn't been arrested for anything yet. Emphasis on "yet."

X was sprung from his home away from home at around 4 AM after serving 90 days in jail -- the minimum sentence for pleading guilty to the following: cruelty to animals, possession of narcotic drugs, theft and possession of marijuana.

DMX -- 240,000 More Reasons Why His Life Sucks

DMXJailed rapper DMX is about to get some more bad news -- he's just been ordered to pay nearly a quarter of a million bucks to a man he assaulted at JFK airport.

It all started 5 years ago, when Port Authority officers arrested X for posing as an FBI agent and using a fake police siren to pull Sergei Priporin and his family over at the airport.

X -- who claims he pulled them over for making him late for a flight -- was in possession of crack, Oxycodone, Diazepam and a billy club at the time.

The plaintiffs, who originally sued for $4 million each, are getting a total of $240,000 in damages.

X's lawyer, Richard Corde, told us: "Mr. Simmons still feels justified in pulling them over when they didn't get out of his way... he's not apologizing for that. He still believes the gentleman driving should have gotten out of his way. At the same time, he plead guilty to the charges and therefore paid for his behavior."

Jailed DMX -- I'm No Tosser

DMX and Earl Simmons want you to know he did not assault an Arizona corrections officer with a loaded food tray -- as he is being accused of doing.

DMX: Click to watch
X (sorry, we mean Earl Simmons) released a statement yesterday saying in part, "Many of you know me as DMX but right now I am speaking to you as Earl Simmons ... For the record, I want to state 'I Did Not' physically touch or hit an officer. This is just another attempt to destroy my credibility."

Sorry Earl, you did a pretty good job of destroying it on your own.

BTW -- if you haven't been following all of X's escapades in Tent City jail -- where Charles Barkley is also set to serve time -- X is accused of throwing a food tray at an officer after he was accused of stealing an extra meal.

DMX Threatens to Beat Up His Jailers

DMXDMX is officially on "lockdown status" in Arizona's Tent City Jail for one of the dumbest moves an inmate can make -- dude threatened to fight the guards.

After X failed to report for his medication, officials say the former platinum rapper began cussing at officers and threatened to "assault somebody to get some respect."

DMX was immediately thrown into lockdown and punished with a "special diet that is a form of bread and water."

It all started when he refused to report for work, telling officers, "I already have a job and don't need this (expletive)."

Sounds like he's finally reforming...
